Adapted Bachnamm LMS Bogies. The coupling has been removed and the section cut out of the end of the bogie where the coupling was. A 2 mm thick insert of plasticard is inserted to the centre of the bogie to raise the height of the carriage.
Airfix and Dapol Bogies. The coupling has been removed and the section cut out of the end of the bogie where the coupling was.
The Airfix Bogie with washer to lift the carriage height so that the buffers are 14 mm above the the rail.
File out this part of the delta plate. This is to ensure the wheels do not foul the draw bar.
Leave a small pip on the back edge of the draw bar. This is to ensue there is minimum end play when the draw bar is being pulled.
With a fine parallel needle file open up the gap under the locating finger.
Ease the locating holes of the female coupling plate and countersink the top of the hole to make coupling the male plate easier.
The Draw Bar
The tabs have been removed from the leading edge of the base plate. Then the base plate drops into the chassis.
10th Plastic strip packing pieces to eliminate slack when pushing and prevent buffer lock. It allows the carriages to get that little bit closer.
